Dr. Amanda Charney

Dr. Amanda Charney, grew up in Grosse lle, Michigan and received her BS and DVM from Michigan State University. Go Green! She loves all creatures but has a special place in her heart for Dachshunds with their sweet and sassy personalities. In her free time she enjoys gardening, reading historical fiction, travel and spending time with her family.

Dr. Jim Cook

Dr. Jim Cook graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in physiology in 1968. After serving 3 years in the U.S. Army, he entered veterinary school at MSU. Graduating in 1974, he moved to Riverview where he worked for 5 years then purchased Riverview Animal Hospital in 1979. He will be in practice 50 years in 2024. He enjoys seeing his old friends and meeting new ones and working with a fantastic team. Rosie, a Goldendoodle (the best dog ever) and Ernie, a stray cat (the best cat ever) along with his wife, Lynne, 3 children and 10 grandchildren make up his family. Golf, wildlife photography and travel keep him busy when not at work.

Dr. Josette LeBlanc

Dr. Josette LeBlanc worked at a veterinary practice in Chicago after graduating from veterinary school at MSU. She returned to Michigan and joined Riverview Animal Hospital in 1995. She enjoys spending time with her family, her horse, Golden Retriever and cat, gardening, and beekeeping in her free time.
