The South African Fire Development Association (SAFDA) is a Non-Profit Association of all stake holders in the Fire and Allied Industries in South Africa and were established in 2014. One of its main objectives is to engage government and other statutory bodies to influence the drafting and implementation of appropriate legislation in order to create an enabling environment for all stake holders including the unemployed in the Fire industry. The main purpose of the Association is to create an enabling environment for its members. The Association seeks to present the views, perspectives and position of all stake holders in the Fire Industry in one, consolidated voice.
