I'm Thom Hordijk, founder of Serve and Smash, and I am passionate about improving my skills while helping others to solve their specific problems.
Initially, I started out playing squash and occasionally tennis, I transitioned to padel in recent years. Although I was drawn to padel for the fantastic rallies, I stayed for the strategic element and decided to immerse myself in the sport. Let's say, you can find me frequently on a padel court.
That is why I have analyzed hundreds of padel and squash rackets and owned altogether around 25 rackets. Next to that, I have spent countless hours consuming these sports in order to filter out the noise. Think about reading, watching, listening, and of course experiencing.
What I lack in terms of professional accomplishments for these racket sports, I am committed to making up for it by packaging the value in a consumable manner. This means for me, providing clear answers while giving context and any desired nuance to it.
