At a young age, Genesis admired her father's passion for food. She became curious and found herself swept into the "busyness" of the kitchen. Her father looked at her and could see how the possibilities for her future would be endless. A couple years have past and Genesis is still as in love with the kitchen as ever. The start of Chef Ruben's culinary training began in Las Vegas in 2000 where he attended the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas as well as working in several restaurants in the Reno and Las Vegas area. He moved to the DMV in 2005 and began work as an Event Chef and eventually Executive Sous Chef for R&R Catering in Springfield from 2005-2013.
