Andrew has over 20 years of experience in commercial and contract management, plays a pivotal role in commercial development for GFD across both new and existing anaerobic digestion (AD) projects. Andrew ensures the smooth execution of contracts. Additionally, Andrew takes charge of new business development in the Dumfries & Galloway region, leveraging his knowledge and connections to expand GFD's new project portfolio and partnerships in the area.
James, a highly experienced Technical Director, has been an integral part of GFD since 2014, leading the technical development and delivery of their renewable gas projects. With his comprehensive knowledge and expertise in multiple renewable gases, including biogas, biomethane, and green hydrogen, James is recognized as one of the most experienced Technical Directors in the UK renewable energy industry today. His deep understanding of these technologies enables him to drive the successful implementation of GFD's projects, ensuring they meet the highest technical standards.
Marc has been actively involved in the renewable energy industry since 2012. With his extensive experience across the full project lifecycle, including project identification, development, funding, and construction, Marc plays a central role in leading GFD's Project Development pipeline. Under his guidance and leadership, GFD has experienced significant growth and has emerged as one of the leading renewable energy project developers in Scotland. Marc's expertise and strategic approach have been instrumental in driving the success of GFD's projects.
Rachel, has been at the helm of the GFD finance and administration team for over 10 years, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's day-to-day business. With her extensive knowledge and expertise in complex project finance structures, Rachel possesses a deep understanding of both the financial and commercial aspects of such arrangements. Her proficiency in navigating intricate financial landscapes contributes to the success of GFD's projects.
