ALL INDIA PINGLA ASHRAM

All India pingla ashram was founded in 1983 by Sant Baba Mohan Singh Ji. He was born in the year 1891 in Pakistan. During the partition of 1947 he came to India with his family. During his journey he saw innocent and helpless people suffering due to partition. His soul was shattered at the sight. He started to help at the camps and served langar to the needy. Engrossed in serving for the people he got separated from his family. After that he never saw them again. After the camps he started living in Gurudwara at Ber Sahib Sultanpur Lodhi district Kapurthala and devoted himself to Waheguru. During this period he met Bhagat Pooran Singh and under his guidance started helping needy people. After some time he was sent to Patiala so that he can help in raising funds for the pingla ashram in Amritsar. He was provided with a room in Gurudwara Dukhniwaran Sahib.
