I believe in the transformational process of therapy wholeheartedly. I have seen personally and professionally that when we do not repair what is problematic in our lives, we often repeat it. Through the process of therapy it is possible to change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours, and to regulate painful emotions. I am truly passionate about the work I do and feel privileged to be afforded the opportunity to assist people in their healing journey... I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I live and practice on the traditional territory of the Tsimshian in Northern British Columbia. I hold a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. I have worked at a non-profit counselling agency, public health, Indigenous health authorities and at a specialized outpatient clinic for Veterans for the treatment of PTSD.
