In 1986 we started selling our products from a store front using a manual Accounting System. We later installed packaged accounting software on our first Intel 286 based PC setup as an in-house network server to automate our invoice and purchasing processes. In the outset as systems integrators, we needed a system that would provide for inventory and production management as bought components and software packages from suppliers and integrated them to a complete system. We could find no small business packaged software meeting this basic manufacturing requirement. Over time we developed our own web based software package websba.com. We included all the basic Accounting and Production Management functions with an integrated shopping cart, Fixed Asset Management with depreciation, Time and Attendance with Payroll... We originally integrated websba.com into our own web site simcom.com that is hosted on our in-house web server and it is connected to the Internet through a fast web..
