TIMKO PET TRAINING - Key Persons

Molly Timko

Molly has been helping people and their pets in the Kitsap & Pierce County areas for 8 years. She began her animal training journey by volunteering at the Kitsap Humane Society in Silverdale, WA. During this time, she was introduced to the Karen Pryor Academy by the behavior specialist at the shelter. She enrolled in their Professional Trainer Program and eventually decided that a mid-life career change was in order! Molly is dedicated to science-based, positive reinforcement methods and enjoys both training dogs and teaching humans how to communicate with and teach their pets effectively, efficiently and humanely. Molly regularly attends in person and online educational events to keep her knowledge base up to date. Her background helps her be an advocate for humane training for pets and kind coaching for their human companions. Molly has a M.A. in Communication from the University of New Mexico and a B.A. from Wellesley College. She shares her home with her husband, 3 dogs, and her youngest son when he is home from college. Her 3 canine family members regularly help with various dog training activities.
