TRANSITION SALT SPRING ENTERPRISE CO-OP

Transition Salt Spring Enterprise Co-op operates under the BC Cooperative Associations Act. The Co-op is owned by its members who elect the volunteer Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting and provide guidance to the Board... We currently have 8 directors and about 100 members. We are a working board with no paid staff. Several members with specialized experience also volunteer, acting as advisors to the board and/or as mentors to borrowers... Transition Salt Spring, Salt Spring Island Electric Vehicles Group, Community Economic Development Commission, Island Savings Credit Union, SSI Chamber of Commerce, SSI Agricultural Alliance, BC Coop Association, SSI Community Energy Society, and Island Pathways. TSSEC is a member of the BC Community Impact Investment Coalition and benefits from the networking and sector development services provided by this coalition.
