BLACK COUNTRY PATHOLOGY SERVICES

BCPS comprises of four pathology laboratories in the Black Country as follows: • The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust • Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust • Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust • The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust We provide the pathology services for our acute hospitals and also local GPs. Some of our laboratories also offer specialist services to the wider NHS and also work on research studies. We serve 1.76 million patients and conduct 60 million tests. This partnership has led to over 27,000 more community phlebotomy appointments, improved TAT, access and workflows... Black Country Pathology Services sees the coming together of four NHS Trust pathology departments across the Black Country offering pathology services for our acute hospitals , wider NHS and also local GPs.
