As an independent wealth management and legacy planner, Rebecca Miller is committed to putting the unique needs of each client first. She has a passion for educating everyone and believes that your legacy is the life you lead today, and everyone should lead a life worth remembering.
Rebecca has more than 25 years of experience ranging from accounting and tax, auditing, risk management, and financial planning. After college she began her career as a senior auditor in Los Angeles performing distribution, production, and merchandising audits at the major studios on behalf of profit participants in film and television. She was later recruited by Altria, the world's largest tobacco manufacturer and parent company to Philip Morris, and worked in internal audit. She supported marketing and was responsible for investigating excessive variances and fraudulent redemptions and purchases. Rebecca also spent time at Reckitt Benckiser Pharmaceuticals where she managed Commercial and Part D rebate contracts to help provide access for patients who were dependent on opiates.
Rebecca graduated from New York University's Stern School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is a Investment Advisor Representative, is Life and Health insurance licensed in Connecticut, and has obtained FINRA securities licenses Series 6, 63, 65 which means she is a Fiduciary. The widespread knowledge and experience she has gained working at major corporations, coupled with her professional licenses, provides her with the tools needed to help people with their retirement and legacy planning needs.
She often has public speaking engagements on retirement planning, Social Security, tax strategies, Medicare enrollment and college planning.
She is a 2nd degree black belt in taekwondo and hapkido and loves to play Pickleball. She regularly volunteers her time through the Financial Awareness Foundation, a 501(c )(3) non-profit organization dedicated to significantly improving financial awareness and literacy.
