Brian Brennan is the General Counsel of Catalio Capital Management, L.P. He is primarily responsible for all legal aspects of Catalio. He also serves on the firmwide Management Committee.
Prior to joining Catalio, Brian was Deputy General Counsel and Managing Director at York Capital Management, a global asset management company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. He was a member of the firm's operating committee and responsible for legal matters related to York's various advised clients and investment products, as well as fund formation, fund structuring, transactions, general partner and personnel related documentation. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Deputy General Counsel at PineBridge Investments LLC. Brian also worked at AIG Investments, the predecessor to PineBridge, advising investment teams on all aspects of investments, fund formation and fund raising. Brian began his legal career as a corporate associate in the New York office of Paul Hastings LLP.

Prior to that, Brian was an Associate at JDRF T1D Fund, a venture philanthropy fund, where he was responsible for early-stage private investments in companies pursuing type 1 diabetes. Earlier, he was a Consultant at Artisan Healthcare Consulting where he provided strategic insights for drug development to pharma and biotech clients.
