EODOPEN

The EODOPEN project builds upon the partnership and infrastructure of the eBooks on Demand (EOD) Network, established in July 2008 and by now a self-sustained network. Just like the EOD network has moved from a publicly funded project to a self-sustained network, the EOPEN project will attract institutions outside the project and create a momentum beyond the duration of the project... EODOPEN or eBooks-On-Demand-Network Opening Publications for European Netizens is a 4 year project, co-funded by the European Commission under the Creative Programme, aiming at the direct engagement with national, regional and local communities in the selection of materials from the 20th and 21st centuries to be digitized.
