The dream of the founding fathers of the NSE was to run a vibrant Society that cares and articulates the aspiration of her teeming members. It is instructive here to note that the founding fathers formed the Society as a resistance movement against injustices meted to them by their foreign counterpart in their own very homeland. Today, after over fifty years of formal independence of the Nigerian state, we are faced with a more sinister environment - fighting your own kits and kins to obtain your right/allow you exercise your freedom, that is, being allowed to practice the engineering profession without the Nigerian factor…
