Fred had been a licensed ham for over 60 years, and Susan got her first ticket in the early 1970s. Both Amateur Extras, we enjoyed operating from 1.8MHz to 5760MHz. We also enjoyed designing and building antennas and equipment, as well as refurbishing classic Technical Materiel Corporation (TMC) commercial transmitters.
