Tolulope is a medical doctor, change management and quality improvement specialist with a keen interest in technology-driven health systems improvement with over half a decade of experience.
With a background in clinical medicine, quality improvement, and quantitative research, he has practised as a clinician, quality improvement specialist and researcher across the private and public sectors with several healthcare organisations in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
He completed his medical training in Nigeria and his postgraduate studies in Healthcare Operational management at the University of Warwick on a Chevening Scholarship from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, UK.
His background and experience as a small-business entrepreneur and leader in the emerging businesses and startup ecosystem in Nigeria combined with his interest in the business of healthcare to tackle the poor funding of healthcare technology businesses on the African continent further spurred his decision to train as a Venture Fellow at the Newton Venture Programme, a joint program by the London Business School and Local Globe VC.
He currently works as a Quality Improvement Lead with one of the largest NHS Trust in the UK at the nexus of Quality Improvement in Healthcare, Technology and Finance contributing his skills and expertise to drive improvement by supporting the implementation of innovative digital tools, information systems management, change management, service implementation, and human resource capacity development.
