The Telephone World website has been in existence in one form or another since 1997. The goal of Telephone World is to have a collection of various aspects of the telephone - the telephones themselves, telephone switching equipment, the central office buildings, and of course sounds from the telephone. We wish to share what we have with people who appreciate the telephone - the strange and mysterious instrument that has been a part of our lives for well over 100 years.
