CPCS

Here at CPCS, we are constantly striving to reach our full potential. We are a school whose intent is to create a learning environment that will give our students the tools that they need to reach their goals and have successful, rich lives. We firmly believe that these values help us to create a school culture that builds strong character and promotes fairness and equality... Beginning with Children, with local parents in Fort Greene, launched CPCS in 2000. Today the elementary and middle school for CPCS are co-located in 2 buildings. Grades Pre-K through 5 are housed in P.S. 270 at 241 Emerson Place in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn. Grades 6 through 8 are in P.S. 256 at 114 Kosciusko Street in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn. Beginning in the fall of 2022, our Community High School will launch with Grade 9 in a private facility in downtown Brooklyn.
