Halal Japan Islamic Association (HaJI) was founded by Dr. Amiruddin and Dato' Haji Khairul in 2018. Previously they had served another Halal Certification Body as Halal auditor, consultant, and trainer in Japan and Malaysia. Throughout the processes, they realized that there are many rooms of opportunities for growth in Japan Halal Food Industries. For instance, the source of Halal Japanese ingredients are very limited and very hard to be available in the market. Thus, they decided to begin the idea with the establishment of Halal certification body in Japan and at the same time engage and collaborate with several trading companies all around the world. For the Malaysia market, the engagement was made with HQC Commerce Sdn. Bhd., a leading trading and commerce company in Malaysia. Through this engagement, HQC will provide a market entry platform for all HaJI clients in Japan, particularly to enter Malaysia Halal Market and realizing the mission of the HaJI establishment.
