Alasdair Younie - CEO

Alasdair Younie joined the ICM Group in 2010, he is a Director and the Chief Executive Officer of ICM Limited, and is based in Bermuda. Alasdair has extensive experience in financial markets and corporate finance, and he is responsible for the day to day running of Somers Limited. Alasdair qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and subsequently worked for six years in the corporate finance division of Arbuthnot Securities Limited in London. Alasdair is a Non-Executive Director of Somers Limited, Carebook Technologies Inc and West Hamilton Holdings Limited. Alasdair graduated from Bristol University with a BSc in Economics and Economic History in 1998 and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Alastair Moreton

Alastair Moreton joined ICM in 2017 to provide company secretarial services to UIL Limited and Utilico Emerging Markets Trust plc, and is based in Epsom, UK. He has over thirty years' experience in corporate finance with Samuel Montagu, HSBC and Arbuthnot Securities, and earlier qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen. Prior to joining ICM, Alastair worked at Stockdale Securities where he was responsible for the company's closed end fund corporate clients.

Alexandra Giles

Alexandra Giles joined ICM in 2016 as an Investment Manager based in Sydney, Australia. She has over nine years' experience in accounting, financial analysis, mortgage securitisation and technology investing. She worked as an Executive in Securitisation at RESIMAC, with a focus on cash flow distributions, reporting and treasury. At ICM, Alexandra is responsible for portfolio coverage and investing across financial services, technology, and innovation/best practice. She also has various board and observer representations across the group. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Professional Accounting, both from the University of New South Wales.

Andrew Hartley - CEO

Andrew Hartley joined ICM in 2023 as CEO of ICM Capital Partners, and is based in Singapore. Prior to this he was CEO for Third500 Singapore, covering technology, media, and telecom (TMT) and healthcare opportunities. For over twenty years, Andrew held a number of leadership roles within Investment Bank, CLSA, and he had fund directorship responsibilities within the group private equity business, CLSA Capital Partners, that managed $5b in assets. While in Singapore, he originated both public and private mandates, in the TMT and REIT sectors, raising over $1.5b in capital. For over ten years, and he was a member of the SGX Securities Advisory Committee. Andrew holds a Diploma of Management from Deakin University, Australia and completed the London Business School Emerging Leaders Program. Andrew is the co-founder of Singapore Asset Management Brokers Awards, a charitable non-profit organisation supporting charities across ASEAN.

Ben Hannigan

Ben Hannigan joined ICM in 2019, and he is a Senior Analyst based in Dublin. Previously Ben was at Davy stockbrokers, where he worked on the investment team responsible for managing the Multi Asset Fund of Funds product. Before this he worked as a data analyst in KPMG for four years. Ben graduated with an honours degree in Management Science from DIT, Ireland in 2012. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and he is a CFA Charterholder.

Charles Jillings - CEO

Charles Jillings joined ICM in 1995, established ICM Investment Research Limited in 1997 and ICM Investment Management Limited in 2015, and is based in Epsom, UK. Charles is a Director of ICM Limited and Chief Executive of ICM Investment Management Limited, a regulated UK AIFM. Charles is responsible for the day to day running of UIL Limited and Utilico Emerging Markets Trust plc, and has over thirty years of experience in international financial markets with extensive experience in corporate finance and asset management. Charles was formerly a non-executive director of Utilico Investment Trust plc and Utilico Emerging Markets Limited, and he is an experienced non-executive director. Charles is currently a director of Somers Limited, W1M, and ICM Mobility Group Limited. Charles graduated from the University of Cape Town with a B. Com. and qualified as a South African Chartered Accountant in 1980.

Conor Spencer

Conor Spencer joined ICM in 2013 as a Senior Fixed Income Analyst based in Dublin, Ireland. Conor has over twenty years of experience working in international financial markets and prior to joining ICM, Conor worked as a Senior Credit Research Analyst and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Dexia S.A. Previous to that he worked within the Treasury Department of Anglo Irish Bank where his roles included helping to manage the liquidity of the bank as well as conducting bank and structured credit research and analysis. Conor supports Gavin Blessing on the fixed income portfolios managed by ICM. Conor has lectured in Management Science and Statistics in the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), and holds an honours degree in Management Science and French from DIT. In addition, he has two post-graduate diplomas in Applied Computing from the University of Limerick and DIT.

Conrado Freitas

Conrado Freitas joined ICM in 2023, and he is an Analyst based in Brazil. Prior to joining ICM, Conrado worked as Financial Planning Analyst and Controller for companies in the technology and oil & gas sectors. Conrado graduated in Business Administration in 2016, obtaining dual degrees from Brazil and Germany. He holds a post-graduate degree in the financial market and a master's degree in economics from the University of Glasgow, UK.

Deray Rifat

Deray Rifat rejoined ICM in 2024 and currently serves as Principal Data Scientist, and is based in Epsom, UK. Deray previously worked as a data consultant and as a Senior Analyst for ICM Investment Management. He has a BSc in Philosophy and Economics from the London School of Economics, a BSc in Mathematics and Physics from The Open University, and an MSc in Theoretical Physics from King's College London. Deray is a CFA charterholder.

Dugald Morrison

Dugald Morrison is Head of Asia Pacific where he has chief responsibility for ICM's distribution relationships. Dugald has extensive professional experience in various global buy-side and sell-side roles (including multiple Portfolio Manager roles) since 1987. In addition to his executive roles, Dugald has acted as chairman and non-executive director at many listed and unlisted companies since 2010. His current directorships include Toranotec in Japan, and Adminis and MCL Capital in New Zealand. Dugald graduated from Victoria University of Wellington in 1991 with BCA (Hons) and is a Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

Duncan Saville - Chairman

Duncan Saville founded the ICM Group and its predecessor companies, and has been employed by the Group since 1988. Duncan is a chartered accountant with a background in corporate finance and asset management. He is an experienced non-executive director having previously been a director in multiple companies in the utility, investment, mining and technology sectors. Duncan is currently a Non-Executive Director of Somers Limited and Resimac Group Limited. His Fellowships include the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and he is a Member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Eduardo Greca

Eduardo Greca joined ICM in 2010 and he is our Head of Latin America. Eduardo began his career with ICM in London before moving to Brazil in 2012, where he is now based. During this period he spent two years in Colombia, gaining deeper insight into the Latin American market. Eduardo has over fifteen years of investment research experience, and prior to joining ICM he worked for the commodities risk management team at Kraft Foods. Eduardo covers the Latin American equity and fixed income investments, and he is responsible for the Stock Exchange sector worldwide with an emphasis on Emerging Markets. Eduardo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the Federal University of Parana (UFPR) in 2009, is a CFA Charterholder, and a Member of the CFA Society in Brazil.

Fraser Daniels

Fraser Daniels joined ICM as an Analyst in 2021 and is based in Vancouver, Canada. Fraser is focused primarily on commodities and resources with an emphasis on North America. He has nine years' experience in financial and commercial analysis, and prior to joining ICM he performed in various roles, including business and corporate development roles at Kinder Morgan and BluEarth renewables, and most recently as National Account Manager at Canadian Pacific Rail. Fraser holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Queen's University at Kingston, Canada.

Gary Shearer

Gary Shearer has been involved with ICM's philanthropic endeavours since 2006. In 2018, Gary relocated from South Africa to the UK to assist ICM and the ICM Foundation in broadening its philanthropic efforts internationally. ICM continues to focus on sustainable and effective education, and supporting innovative entities and projects.

Gavin Blessing

Gavin Blessing joined ICM in 2012, is the General Manager and Director of ICM Capital Research Limited and is based in Dublin, Ireland. He has over twenty five years' experience, mostly in the corporate fixed income markets, both investment grade and high yield. He worked as a Credit Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London for ten years. Prior to joining ICM he was the Head of Bond Credit Research at Canaccord Genuity in Dublin. Gavin is responsible for the fixed income portfolios managed by ICM. Gavin graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin, Ireland in 1992. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and he is a CFA Charterholder.

George Velikov

George Velikov joined ICM in 2018, and he is our Head of EMEA at ICM Investment Management, based in Epsom, UK. He oversees EMEA equity investments and leads equity research in CEE, MENA, and Central Asia. Prior to joining ICM, George spent two years as an investment graduate analyst for Zurich UK for two years. He holds a BSc in Economics and Management from the University of Bristol, is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of the United Kingdom.

Gillian Zhao

Gillian joined ICM in 2022 as the China and Far East Analyst, based in Epsom, UK. Her main role is to conduct investment research and to support the senior analysts across multiple sectors. Prior to joining ICM, she worked as a business valuation graduate in EY UK for over two years, primarily on Infrastructure and Energy sectors. Gillian holds a MSc in Global Management (Finance) from London School of Economics, and a BBA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Hong Kong Baptist University.

Henry Beck

Henry Beck joined ICM in 2021 working as an Analyst based in Epsom, UK. His main role is to support the senior analysts with their respective sectors. Previously Henry was an intern at Trafaltin, where he worked on trade financing. Henry graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Bath in 2020, and he is currently pursuing the CFA Charter.

Hugh O'Rourke

Hugh O'Rourke joined ICM in 2021, and he is the Business Development Executive for the Pentagon Bond Funds and Novareum Blockchain Asset Fund. Hugh has over eighteen years of experience across various roles in treasury, portfolio management and business development at organisations including Sachsen LB Europe, Commerzbank Europe and KBC Asset Management. Hugh graduated with a Bachelor of International Commerce and German degree from the University of Galway in 2004 and obtained a MSc. in Financial Services from the University of Limerick in 2005.

Jacqueline Broers

Jacqueline Broers joined ICM in 2010, and her current role is Senior Equity Analyst for ICM Investment Management, and Joint Portfolio Manager of Utilico Emerging Markets Trust plc, based in Epsom, United Kingdom. Prior to joining ICM, Jacqueline worked in the Corporate Finance team at Lehman Brothers and Nomura. Jacqueline is focused on the infrastructure and utilities sectors worldwide particular emphasis on Emerging Markets. Jacqueline is a qualified chartered accountant and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Jae Yoo

Jae Yoo joined ICM in 2019 and is the MAS licensed representative for ICM Global Funds, based in Seoul. Jae has over fifteen years' experience in corporate finance, investment banking and equities research in Australia and New Zealand. Before joining ICM he worked in Australia for a boutique investment bank in Sydney, and prior to that he held a role as Director in Deloitte's M&A Advisory team. Jae's role at ICM is to advise ICM Global Funds on investment opportunities with a focus on the South Korean market. Jae graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree from Victoria University of Wellington and he is a CFA Charterholder.

Jason Cheong - Managing Director

Jason Cheong joined ICM in 2016, and he is currently the Managing Director, ICM AU Pty Ltd, based in Australia. He has thirteen years' experience in private markets investing across venture capital and private equity in Australia and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining ICM, he was a private equity investor at Brookfield Asset Management, and a mergers and acquisitions lawyer at Baker & McKenzie, LLP. Jason graduated from the University of New South Wales with first class honours in 2009, and holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce. He is a qualified solicitor, admitted to practice in Australia.

Jeremy Campling

Jeremy Campling joined ICM in 2002 and is based at Epsom, UK. As Director for Property he deals with all the property matters across ICM, which include investment, development and occupational interests. Prior to joining ICM, he spent ten years at Jones Lang LaSalle, one of the largest global real estate consultancies, advising clients in a range of areas. Jeremy obtained a BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Exeter, a Post Graduate Diploma in Estate Management from South Bank University, London, and he is a fully qualified member of the RICS.

Jonathan Chi

Jonathan Chi joined ICM in 1997 and established the Singapore office in 2000, where he is based. His current role is as Chief Executive of ICM Global Funds. He has been involved in a range of public and private investment instruments over the last twenty five years in transportation, financial services, mobility/payment systems, technology and deep discount assets, and has been on the boards of numerous investee companies. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and is a Member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Julie Laffy

Julie Laffy joined ICM in 2012, and she started her career with ICM in Singapore before moving to Sydney, Australia in 2022. She has over twenty years of experience in the finance industry in a variety of product, marketing, sustainability, and management roles. Julie is currently the Head of Marketing and Communications for the ICM Group. She also supports the ICM team on ESG and ICM Foundation matters, and a range of investments. Julie completed a Bachelor of Business degree from ACU, Australia, and a Master of Business Administration from Temple University, Singapore. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Kate Prebble

Kate Prebble joined ICM in 2021 and works as an Investment Principal focused in the high performance computing and quantum computing technology space. Kate has experience with science and engineering, data analytics and management consulting. Prior to joining ICM, Kate worked at EY with private and public sector clients on a range of engagements including risk and compliance, performance improvement and strategy development. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.

Mark Lebbell

Mark Lebbell joined ICM in 2000 and is a Senior Equity Analyst for ICM Investment Management Limited, based in Epsom, UK. Prior to joining ICM, Mark worked for five years as an engineer developing digital television technology. Mark has assisted managing Utilico Emerging Markets Trust plc and UIL Limited since their inception. Mark is focused on the Digital Infrastructure sector worldwide with particular emphasis on Emerging Markets. Mark has a Masters of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Birmingham, and he is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

Matthew Gould

Matthew Gould joined ICM in 2018. He is the Portfolio Manager of the ICM HPQC Fund and the Head of Emerging Technology at ICM Limited and is responsible for ICM's quantum endeavour. Matthew has experience across a range of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, and Fintech. Prior to joining ICM, he was CEO of Arria NLG, a publicly traded AI software company in London. Matthew was with Hewlett Packard (HP) from 2001 to 2009 where he led the Asia-Pac Emerging Technologies practice, before transferring to Silicon Valley as the Chief Strategy Officer for HP's Professional Services division. Matthew was also on HP America's M&A committee and had a role in identifying and qualifying acquisition targets. Matthew has degrees in Theology & Comparative Religion (Hons), and Literary Theory (Hons) from Canterbury University, and an MBA, Finance and Corporate Strategy from Otago University in 1995. He is a registered financial advisor and member of the Institute of Directors, New Zealand.

Nick McGovern

Nick McGovern joined ICM in 2022 as an Analyst, based in Dublin. Prior to joining ICM, Nick worked in various tax advisory and corporate finance roles at KPMG and Investment Bank of Ireland (IBI). He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland, and he is also a Chartered Tax Advisor.

Nick Sparks

Nick joined ICM in 2022, is the Risk Manager for ICM and is based in the Epsom office. He has over twenty five years' experience in risk and investment management gained at a global insurer, a large UK asset manager, and a leading alternatives manager. Nick has held Controlled Functions in both the UK and Ireland, and he is an Affiliate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. He has an MA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.

Pierre de Villecourt

Pierre de Villecourt joined ICM in 2017 and he is based in Australia. In his role as Portfolio Operations & Technical Advisor he works closely with portfolio companies to drive operational excellence and maximise long-term value creation. He provides strategic and technical expertise to founders and executive teams, helping to strengthen operations, identify efficiencies and implement new technologies. Prior to joining ICM, Pierre was the Chief Information Officer for Resimac, where he was charged with establishing current and long-range technology objectives, plans, and policies. He has also served as CIO at FSA Group, Bluestone Group & Charles Schwab, bringing deep experience in advancing technology within both start-ups and mature businesses.

Richard Anstead - Chief Compliance Officer

Richard Anstead joined ICM in 2021 as Head of Compliance and Risk, based in Epsom. He has over thirty years' compliance experience in the financial services sector, predominantly in investment management. Prior to joining ICM, Richard headed up compliance teams at American Express Asset Management, AXA Investment Managers, EFG Asset Management and BNP Paribas. Richard has managed teams both in the UK and globally.

Saifaldeen (Saif) Alsadi

She is a director of several private companies including Harlequins Football Club Ltd. Sandra is a qualified chartered accountant, and holds the Securities & Investment Institute Certificate of Corporate Finance.

Scott Duncan

Scott Duncan joined ICM in 2023. He is a Partner in ICM Capital Partners and a MAS authorised representative on ICM Global Funds, based in Singapore. Prior to joining ICM, Scott worked for over four years as Managing Director of Third500, a boutique Emerging Growth Investment Bank. Scott has over twenty five years of experience in private banking and investment management at a number of firms including Lloyds Bank, Credit Suisse Private Banking, Goldman Sachs Wealth Management, CapBridge and J. Safra Sarasin, where he was the Vice Chair of Bank and was responsible for the management and growth of the South East Asian business, managing c. USD 1.4B. Scott is responsible for business development to assist growth for funds and direct portfolio investee companies for ICM. Scott graduated from Highlands College in Jersey as part of the Chartered Institute of Banking Program in Business and Finance.

Stephanie Saville

Tiaan Koole

Tiaan Koole joined ICM in 2020, and he is the Head of Tax and General Manager, ICM AU. Tiaan started his career with ICM in South Africa, before moving to Australia in 2021. He has over eighteen years of international tax experience, working at PwC for over ten years in their Cape Town and Amsterdam offices. Prior to joining the ICM Group, Tiaan was Head of International Tax at Sanlam for five years, covering the non-South African portfolio. At ICM, Tiaan is responsible for the ICM Group taxation, structuring and oversight of the tax affairs of the investee companies. Tiaan graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom LLB) degree from the University of Stellenbosch and holds a Master's Degree in Tax Law (LLM) and a graduate diploma in Tax from the University of Melbourne. He is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

Tristan Kingcott

Tristan Kingcott joined ICM in 2018 and is based in Vancouver, Canada. He is the portfolio manager for Zeta Resources Limited and responsible for ICM's Canadian office. He is focused on the resources sector worldwide, and on the technology and financial services sectors in North America. Tristan has over fourteen years' experience in financial and commercial analysis, and prior to joining ICM performed various roles in the energy and financial services sectors in Canada and New Zealand. Tristan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Alberta, Canada, is a CFA Charterholder and a Member of the CFA Society in Vancouver.

Yeong Fai Keow
