FOTAS - Key Persons


Brandon Carvel MAAT

Joined Fotas as a trainee accountant while completing my level 2 AAT qualification. I am now continuing on to starting my level 3 AAT course in September. Random facts about me I have spent 7 years with St John Ambulance where I am first aid trained, I was also a Corporal there until I moved from cadets to adults.

David Hackett

Dave joined FOTAS in 2008 following his academic studies. Since then he gained his ACCA qualification and now works as the accounts manager.

Faye Bradley MAAT

Faye left school and dived straight into a career in accountancy. After four years working in one practice she felt it time to broaden her horizon by joining the FOTAS team at the start of 2017.

Jane Jordan

After joining the firm in 2014, Jane has quickly become an integral part of the FOTAS team and will be there to welcome you on your arrival.

Lu Yan Yin

Joined FOTAS in 2002 and started my training from day one. After gaining all the qualifications and experience all round, now I specialise in personal tax.

Mike Rudd

Mike's younger years were spent training with Clement Keys in Birmingham where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1985. After deciding to specialise in Taxation Mike moved to Ernst & Young and qualified as a Chartered Taxation Associate in 1988. Getting "itchy feet" Mike set up in private practice in 1990.

Sebastian Thornton MAAT

After working for 6 years completing monthly management accounts I felt it was time to move on to broaden my horizon and take on a new challenge so in 2017, I had the privilege of joining the FOTAS team. Random facts about me I love tennis, so I will always find time to play. Football is also a big passion and I support the mighty Aston Villa. I'm Half Italian.

Stephen Crane MAAT

Steve joined us after completing his GCSE's and A Levels at Bishop Vesey Grammar School. He is presently studying towards his ICAEW professional qualification.
