Mike Jordan is a publicly recognized cybersecurity and risk management expert and executive, specializing in vendor/third party risk management (TPRM). He has taught at the world-renowned RSA Conference and has been quoted often in news media on cybersecurity, technology risk and the future of technology.
Mike has provided leadership and guidance for multiple industry groups including for the Consumer Goods Manufacturing industry, TPRM and various cyber security organizations. He was a Vice President of the Delaware Valley chapter of the Cloud Security Alliance, an advisor for TPRM software and service companies, a GIAC Board Member and a founding member of the Delaware ISC2 chapter.
As the Vice President of Research and Development, he provided oversight of the Shared Assessments TPRM content and tool development lifecycle starting from market research and innovation through development, launch, marketing and sales support. Shared Assessments is the trusted source for TPRM knowledge and its tools including the SIG questionnaire builder, SCA assessment practice library, VRMMM TPRM maturity benchmarking tool and Third Party Privacy Tools contain the most widely known and accepted content for measuring and assessing Third Party Risk.
Mike conducted research into new threats, trends and technologies that impacted TPRM from all aspects, including concerns from outsourcers, suppliers and TPRM software vendors. He has worked with nearly every TPRM provider and has contributed to numerous industry studies and publications. He has led industry committees and efforts in the areas of Operational Technology (OT)/Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Third Party Continuous Monitoring.
