Keith Angell joined Pythian as CEO in 2019. He has been a C-Level executive or Board Director at 12 VC/PE backed, high growth tech companies (3 IPO, 6 Acquisitions), including most recently as Director for Pythian and an Executive Partner for Mill Point Capital. Previously, he was CEO of Velocity Technology Solutions (Silver Lake Sumeru company), a leading global cloud managed services company, specializing in moving complex enterprise IT/ERP+ to the hybrid cloud.
Prior to Pythian and Velocity, Keith was President, Global Services at Virtustream, where he was responsible for Cloud Managed and Professional Services. Virtustream was acquired by EMC in 2015. Before Virtustream, Keith spent nine years as an executive in IBM's Global Cloud & Technology Services, including Vice President, Cloud Managed Services, and Chief Revenue Officer at SoftLayer. Keith managed much of IBM's services portfolio and had key technology experiences in cloud, mobility, analytics, and networking.
Keith has held executive positions in the U.S. and Europe, including business development, M&A, sales, and product offering activities. Before IBM, Keith held CEO, COO, President, SVP of Operations & Sales roles at four software/services and consulting firms. He started his career in the management development program at Exxon Corp. Keith holds BS Engineering magna cum laude (Duke), MS Engineering (Northeastern), and MBA Finance (LSU) degrees, numerous professional certifications, as well as two patents.
Keith Millar leads Pythian with a balance of technology and business expertise. He's experienced nearly every aspect of managing Pythian since joining in 2009 as Vice President of Sales. He was promoted to Chief Revenue Officer in 2014 and Senior Vice President in 2016, leading Pythian's services business, including sales, marketing, business development, service delivery, and customer success. Keith became Pythian's President in 2019.
Prior to Pythian, Keith held a number of management and leadership positions with technology software and services firms. Keith was previously VP of Business Development at Liquid Computing, VP of Product Management at Opalis Software, and Director of Product Management at Quest Software. He started his career as a systems engineer in aerospace.
Keith holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia, with an engineering degree from Queen's University. He is excited by what's new in technology, and calls the cloud revolution the most interesting in "our industry in our lifetime." Establishing Pythian as a true cloud player is a major point-of-pride.

Michael (Mike) Bray leads sales for Pythian across all geographies, industries, and offerings. Mike has a passion for helping companies scale their business for growth by ensuring they know, serve, and anticipate their clients' needs. He leverages strategic partnerships to enhance the value of our offerings and enter new markets quickly.
Mike brings to Pythian 25+ years of sales, marketing, partner, and business management experience in the technology services and software industries. Having held a variety of market facing leadership roles in companies large and small, global and regional, Mike has a keen understanding of what it takes to compete, grow, and thrive in today's rapidly evolving marketplace.
Mike joined Pythian from TDS, a software and services company for the cloud, datacentre, and application migration market, where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Prior to TDS, Mike spent 12 years at DXC (formerly CSC) holding Vice President and Director roles in sales and marketing. He has also held leadership roles at Getronics (now part of KPN), The Signature Group (TSG), and UniNet.
When Mike is not travelling to meet with clients and partners or working with his colleagues, he enjoys watching his daughters compete in their chosen sports, travelling with family, cooking, golfing, and playing racquet sports.

In addition, Paul steers technical innovations that continue to expand partner relationships. As a 25+ year global CTO and technology executive, Paul is well-known in the industry for his impassioned technology evangelism, client executive advocacy, and technological and business strategy, particularly as it relates to digital transformation and operational IT strategy.

Paul is a frequent speaker at technology and industry events as well as a recurring lecturer at higher educational institutions, presenting on topics such as IT leadership, Digital Transformation, and using data insights to drive growth. He serves on the Master of Business Analytics (MBAN) and Master of Management Artificial Intelligence (MMAI) advisory boards at Schulich School of Business, the IT Media Group advisory board, and as an executive analyst at GigaOm-providing guidance on compelling issues and topics for CIOs and the vendors that serve them.
Paul has worked across a number of firms prior to Pythian, including most recently as Global CTO for Hitachi Ventara and Hitachi Data Systems. Prior to Hitachi, Paul served as the Vice President of Technology for Davis & Henderson, and Vice President of Technology for GHR Systems. Paul holds a Bachelor of Computer Science. He also has leadership and technology graduate certificates from the Tuck School of Business and IMD Business school.

As Chief Cloud Strategist, Rick is focused on ensuring the company and its clients fully understand, select, and deploy enterprise cloud solutions when integrating, modernizing, or moving to the cloud. Rick's expertise is in navigating the complex cloud provider ecosystem to align the features of private and public clouds that can solve the challenges of each unique business.
Rick has 20+ years of technology and leadership experience in enterprise product development, systems architecture, and infrastructure modernization and adoption. His expertise was instrumental to Agosto becoming a leading cloud integrator, aggregator, and top Google Cloud provider, as well as a valued resource to industry analysts and the media.

Vanessa is focused on working with Pythian's partners to deliver customers the best technologies, support, and outcomes. From ensuring Pythian's technical team has all the right certifications, to building long-term relationships with firms like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, Vanessa is all about making Pythian better and stronger.
With over 20 years in marketing and business development, Vanessa has built her reputation on energy, excellence, and outstanding results. In 2018, she was recognized by CRN as one of the year's Women of the Channel.
Vanessa pursues her passion for great food, wine, and artisan cheeses as an accredited Cheese Sommelier and Cordon Bleu-trained chef. Her weekly Friday afternoon cheese tastings at Pythian's Ottawa office are not to be missed.
