Ahmad A. Al Mansoury

With a background in Civil Engineering and Construction Law, Al Mansoury has an extensive experience in a wide range of international contract forms including FIDIC, JCT, ICE -NEC3, AIA. Al Mansoury received his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University, Faculty of Engineering and continued his post-graduate studies in Construction Law and Arbitration from The Robert Gordon University in the UK. Al Mansoury, as a specialist in the areas of contracts management, claims preparation, assessment, defense and arbitration, spends most of his professional time advising both owners and contractors in construction and engineering claims and disputes on projects that range from five-star hotels and mixed-use mega projects to infrastructure and enabling works. Providing consultations to clients in procurement strategies, contracts preparation and management, Al Mansoury has gained his reputation in Egypt and a number of Gulf countries including the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar. A trusted and accomplished professional in the field, Al Mansoury was appointed to the dispute adjudication board of numerous high-profile projects in the Emirates, and conducted arbitration under various arbitration rules including the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law and the International Chamber of Commerce. Al Mansoury is a fellow to the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), a founder of the Egypt branch of the UK-based Society of Construction Law and a member of the board of the Society of Construction Law-Gulf. He also teaches courses in contracts management and FIDIC forms in the UAE and Egypt.

Ahmed Nasreldien

Mr. Nasreldien is an experienced commercial and contracts Director who joined Al Mansoury in 2010. He has extensive experience in Egypt, Qatar, UAE and KSA and has comprehensive understanding of the Middle East construction market and the different forms of contracts usually used in the region. His area of expertise includes renowned hotels and resorts, commercial buildings and mega mixed use projects with international developers in the region. Mr. Nasreldien has more than 17 years of experience working with the different forms of contracts with specific use of FIDIC forms of Contract. Specific skills include the negotiations of the contracts with the international Consultants and Contractors. He has extensive experience in construction claims for extension of time and additional payment loss of productivity analysis, preparation of custom tailored conditions of contracts that match the size, nature and requirements of the project and to reasonably distribute the risks without compromising the Client's rights, further eliminate the unnecessary inflation of the Contractor's prices.

Ahmed Sherif

Ahmed is a long-serving team member of Al Mansoury InShield since 2013. Ahmed possesses extensive construction experience ranging from construction planning, contracts management and claims preparation to dispute resolution and arbitration. Throughout his involvement with Al Mansoury-InShield, Ahmed has successfully completed several tasks in different projects in Egypt and GCC including high-rise towers, oil and gas, and mixed-use projects. Ahmed's experience, backed up with technical and academic backgrounds, provided him with an analytical perspective of a project's technical and contractual key issues, as well as allowed him to foresee potential challenges and prepare mitigation plans and strategies. Ahmed holds a bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering and is an LLM candidate in construction law and arbitration. Ahmed is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Mr. Hassouna is a Civil Engineer with more than 32 years of experience in the design and construction of urban wet infrastructure. Having played leadership positions both as a consulting engineer and directly serving Dubai Municipality. As a Construction Manager, he has led the construction of major urban sewage, irrigation, drainage network projects valued at up to US$ 6 billion in Egypt, KSA, Oman, Qatar and the UAE. Mr. Hassouna was a Drainage & Irrigation expert in Dubai Municipality for almost 8 years, providing administrative, technical and construction management support on drainage and irrigation projects for the Emirate of Dubai. At Dubai Municipality, he contributed to the success of several major projects in terms of technical, commercial, quality and health & safety.

Mohamed Akram

Mr. Akram has over 30 years of experience in both Engineering Consultancy and Contracting. As consultant, he has a sound knowledge in Tendering procedures, Conditions of Contract, Bill of Quantities, Prequalification of Contractors & Sub-contractors, Evaluation of bids, Contract Agreements, and Management of Contract during Construction. As contractor, he is an expert with Quality Management, Tender Estimating & Cost Control and Contract Management during construction.

Mohamed Salah

Mr. Salah has 17 years of experience in project control systems and planning services working on large multi-packaged, multi-million dollar projects in the construction industry. A trusted and accomplished professional in the field, he has worked in projects covering the financial, commercial, retail and infrastructure sectors of the industry primarily in UAE, Qatar and Egypt, very organized and efficient in development, implementation and monitoring of integrated systems for planning, scheduling and cost control. A good communicator and builds good relationships with contractors and team members when coordinating the implementation of the project control system. He is thorough in his detailed design and subsequent installation of project control systems and procedures. Has an in-depth experience of developing master plans, the detailed design and development of the resource and cost loaded work breakdown structure and schedule, budgeting and cash flow forecasting. He has been involved in procurement management, risk management and value engineering analysis.

Shady Sherif Ateem

Mr. Ateem has an intensive construction management experience particularly in projects planning, cost and contracts administration, and has been an international practitioner involved in several projects in the Middle East and North Africa. He brings to the firm a valuable blend of academic and practical performance. Through his experience, Mr. Ateem has been working extensively with FIDIC forms of contract; he has successfully undertaken various contractual aspects from projects initiations through execution to completion and closing-out stages. Besides being trainer for "Primavera" planning software for many years, he also excels in projects planning and extension of time technicalities. Mr. Ateem recorded in his curiculum vitae a diversified categories of projects that includes infrastructure, bridges, high rise towers, hotels, hospitals, and marine structures, in addition to oil and gas projects. He has experienced mostly all the construction industry trades from deep foundations to final fit out works.

Waleed Abdel Hameed

Waleed holds an LL.M. (Master) degree in Construction Law and Arbitration from UK in addition to a B.Sc. in Engineering. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (‘MCIArb'), a Fellow of the Geneva-based Dispute Board Federation (‘FDBF') who led their MENA advisory council between 2009 and 2013, a certified engineer and a project management professional. He has a long career life in establishing and leading commercial functions of several iconic mega construction projects. He is highly skilled in drawing long and short term goals for organisations, in general, and commercial departments in particular. His long commercial experience (and diversified exposure) have made him outstanding in achieving the unreachable especially in managing and settlement of commercial functions of mega projects.
