CAT MALAWI

In contrast Cat Malawi is a wholly independent and self financing organisation based in Mzuzu, the capital of the northern region of Malawi. Our approach is different because we have sown a seed and nurtured it to life. In line with our outputs CAT has, in the first instance, established ‘appropriate technology production.' We design, manufacture, process, package, market and sell AT products, none of which were available in the region before. This in turn develops income, creates employment, fulfils specific needs and helps us achieve our objective. It also ensures longevity and in-built sustainability. We are not beholden to third parties, donors or individuals. BUT we are flexible and take the initiative to work towards our own objective without constraint... CAT Malawi has now been operating for over six years at rented premises in Luwinga, Mzuzu.
