We adhere to the NYS requirements for a Middle School Program and offer programs in core subjects (ELA, Social Studies, Math and Science), special areas such as Career and Technical Education, Visual Arts, Physical Education, Technology, Music, Performing Groups (Orchestra, Band, Chorus), Spanish, French, and Health. In our 8th grade, students are selected to participate in Regents Algebra, Regents Earth Science and or Studio in Art. Each Regents class earns a high school credit. We encourage all students to make the most out of their three years at middle school. We offer a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, from clubs to multiple athletic teams for both boys and girls... We believe that every student, every parent, every teacher, and every staff member matters and each holds a special place within our VCMS family.
