Sudbury native, David Anselmo has been in the entertainment industry for over 15 years. After graduating Laurentian University while studying Theatre Arts, Mr. Anselmo spent 7 years of his life working in South Korea and most of Asia as an actor and producer. Among his many credits are international selling films, "Rpoint", "Welcome to Dongmakgol" and the highest grossing South Korean film of all time "The Host" which passed the $100M at the box office.
Seeing an opportunity to create a new industry in Northern Ontario, he founded Hideaway Pictures in 2010, a Northern Ontario production company with the mandate of attracting bigger film and television productions to the North. He has brought films to Northern Ontario starring Academy Award Winner Mercedes Ruhl, Academy Award Nominee Chloe Sevigny and Meg Tilly, Sam Trammell from HBO's True Blood, William Baldwin, James Brolin, Jason Priestley, Adam Beach and Dominic Purcell. In 2014, he produced "The Masked Saint" which was recently released in over 600 theatres across North America. To top that, his latest film "Antibirth", was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2016, Hideaway Pictures signed a multi-year, $100M production deal with a major film production partner in Los Angeles.
"I want to show people that we are serious about film in Northern Ontario, that we have stories to tell too." With a studio garnering international attention and a busy slate for 2018 and beyond, Mr. Anselmo is beginning to achieve exactly that.
Paul "Moose" Legault was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. In 1995, he graduated from Ecole Secondaire Catholique l'Horizon and then enrolled in the Community and Justice Services program at Cambrian College. In 2004, Paul decided to enter the mining industry and worked for a mining company for 14 years.
He joined the team in 2018, starting out as a Generator Operator and shortly after, he was promoted to the role of Transport Coordinator & Equipment Manager. Paul has been the Transport Coordinator on many shows such as The Crossword Mysteries, Too Close for Christmas, Christmas Carousel, and others. Paul's greatest accomplishment was being the Transport Coordinator on the TV series "When Hope
