Dr. Daniela Leumer

Dr. Daniela Leumer completed her doctorate in veterinary medicine at Western University in Pomona, California. That's only part of her educational journey. Dr. Leumer also has a Masters of Science in microbiology (Probiotics) from California Polytechnic University in Pomona, as well as certificates in Chinese herbal medicine and Acupuncture. She has worked as a research associate at Allergan, Purdue Pharmaceuticals and the Center for Antimicrobial Research, as well as at several veterinary clinics and as a relief veterinarian. She and her son, Luke, have several rescued companion pets including three dogs, a cat, a corn snake and an opossum. In her free time, she pursues Iyengar and Hatha Yoga.

Dr. Miwa Kanbe

Dr. Miwa Kanbe is a seasoned veterinarian of more than 15 years of experience. She excels in providing high standard veterinary medicine with compassion and care. She is passionate about acupuncture, nutrition and integrative/holistic medicine.

Dr. Natalia Nesterenko

Dr. Natalia Nesterenko graduated from Novosibirsk State Agrarian University in Russia in 1999. After an internship in a private clinic she moved to the United States with her husband in 2001. Her veterinary career started in New York where she initially worked as a veterinary tech while taking all of the extensive, difficult tests necessary to practice veterinary medicine in the United States. Once she received her license, she began working as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. In 2010, she and her family decided to make the move to CA. She worked in a few busy small animal clinics before joining the Hemopet in December 2018. Dr. Natalia believes in offering the best medical care and more importantly, educating the clients so that they can make the best decisions for both their pet and themselves. Dr. Natalia is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist and TCVM practitioner.
