Michael Kimmel

Michael Kimmel joins KBC after nearly a decade at Cushman & Wakefield where he covered the New Jersey and Baltimore industrial markets and everywhere in between (insert picture of a dog chasing a bone). As a glorified cold caller, Michael feels fortunate to have concluded his time as a Managing Director at C&W, where he ranked within the top 40 of all brokerage producers in the Americas. Michael's areas of expertise include off-market sale transactions, tenant representation (renewal vs. relocation analysis - both local and national), and landlord representation. Over the past 3 years in NJ as the team's unofficial walk-on, Michael's efforts led to over $117 million in sales volume, 50 tenant rep deals totaling just over3.5mm square footage, and multiple hot coffees successfully delivered during landlord presentations to his elderly partners. Tenant clients have included Piramal Glass, Turtle & Hughes, Legacy Converting, PrimeSource Building Products, and Ahold USA. Landlord clients include Black Creek Group, Duke Realty, Link Industrial, PGIM, and PLD among others. Michael enjoyed playing professional lacrosse during the first 5 years of his career at C&W. For now, when Michael is not getting the phone hung up in his face, he can be found with his wife, chasing and cleaning up after their two little ones.

Michael Peabody

Michael started his real estate career in 2013. Prior to joining KBC Advisors, Michael was with Nelson Realty Advisors, where he worked through government contracts to procure property, construct, and lease office buildings throughout Washington State. He has developed an in-depth knowledge of each step of the development process, from construction timelines, budgeting, approvals, and contract negotiations. Outside of work, he enjoys watching English Premier League soccer, skiing, cooking, and traveling. It is possible he's on some kind of government watchlist for traveling to every communist country in the world.

Michelle Emperor

Michelle joined KBC following a 7-year tenure with CBRE in Chicago helping clients achieve their real estate objectives. Her strength in developing operational efficiencies provided support for clients on all aspects of transactions: marketing expertise, micro-to-macro communications, market research, data management, financial analysis and more. She has assisted hundreds of transactions locally, regionally, and globally: leasing, acquisition, disposition, and capital markets. Before working with brokerage teams, she supported the transaction accounting department processing and tracking transaction funds for the Chicago metro region. Prior to real estate, Michelle worked in events and development in non-profits in the South Puget Sound, WA where she happily traded Chicago snow for PNW rain for five years. Outside the office, she enjoys wrangling 2-year old and 9-year old daughters with the help of her partner, Michael, and many lovely family members who thankfully only work part-time. They love to travel as a unit and have started taking the older kid international in recent years (hello, Iceland!). She sometimes moonlights as a children's dance instructor for the family business, and any free time after that is most likely spent knitting. Education: A.A. Robert Morris University; AA and B.A. Evergreen State College

Within her first 6 months in sales, she successfully negotiated a contract with one of the largest Medical Universities in the Southeast, placing upwards of 60 clinical resources who helped with the hospital's COVID response efforts. In her free time, she loves spending time out on the water, hiking, reading, and playing tennis - which she considers herself to be extremely mediocre at. Prior to joining KBC, Paul left brokerage for five years to work for Brookfield's growing logistics platform as Global Head of Corporate Development. This unique role brought together the complementary efforts of business development, marketing, branding, communications and innovation under one umbrella in an effort to respond more effectively to customer needs in ever-changing markets. Additionally, Paul assisted with acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and internal forecasting while sitting on the senior team for both operating platforms - IDI Logistics (US) and Gazeley (EU). On a personal note, Paul enjoys coaching his kids' teams. Ryan Bos

Ryan was born in Denver, grew up in Chicago, and currently finds comfort in his not so sleepy surf town of Hermosa Beach, California. Looking back, he began his illustrious commercial real estate career at the worst time in industrial real estate history. Ryan had to cold call his way through 5+ years at Grubb & Ellis, had a pit stop at Newmark, Grubb, Knight, Frank, and ultimately settled down at Cushman & Wakefield, where he specialized in National Tenant Representation and Investment Sales and Agency Leasing. He was consistently recognized in the Los Angeles Business Journal as a top producer within the Los Angeles area along with acquiring several Costar Power Broker awards. On a personal note, Ryan was a former All-American, lefty pitcher for the Northwestern University baseball team. However, since he married his beautiful wife, Amanda, he is now associated with the familiar football term "out kicked his coverage". He spends his time chasing his 2 kids, Vance and Drue, around their beach bungalow while enjoying the background noise of the same kids' tv shows on repeat. Ryan also love Electronic Dance Music far more than he should being that he is a 40+ year old Dad.

The first 14 years of his career were spent at the boutique brokerage and consulting firm of Burr & Temkin, primarily supporting the real estate requirements for transportation-focused users and landlords. In this role he worked on a wide range of projects from sales and lease transactions, to build to suit and site selection, portfolio valuations as part of M&A due diligence or corporate restructuring/re-capitalizing, and strategic expansion. This broad range of experience has provided a deep understanding of real estate transactions, development, entitlements, and has proven invaluable in his support of his clients. Over the past four years, Zach has focused on representing e-commerce clients and has been directly involved in rolling out several complex new initiatives for these companies. Zach's prior experience within the transportation industry has been critical to understanding these initiatives which rely heavily on delivery and thus transportation. In addition to the roll out of these before mentioned initiatives, Zach has worked on a number of large e-commerce facilities throughout the United States.
