David Stewart

After graduating from Davidson College in 1994, David spent six years as a sales leader for First Union National Bank in Virginia. In 2000, he left First Union and started work as a property and project manager for Harris Associates in Davidson and Charlotte. In 2001, while still working for Harris Associates, David moved to Davidson and started the executive MBA program at UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated in the fall of 2003. That same year he entered into an agreement to buy Harris Associates from Ed Harris and has continued to use the company as a platform for property management and development projects. The projects on which he has worked over the last 18 years vary dramatically in their tenant mix, credit quality, and size. Renamed The Stewart Group in 2009, the organization remains flexible and can effectively manage most any small-to-medium sized commercial project. David holds a broker-in-charge real estate license in North Carolina. In early 2010, David partnered with Michael Orlando and Greg Fallon to form TSG Partners, LLC, a commercial real estate firm that provides investment, management, and brokerage services for Davidson-area commercial properties. This has been an underserved niche in the area and TSG has successfully introduced a business model that services investors, tenants, landlords, buyers, and sellers. David and his wife, Betsey, live in downtown Davidson with their two sons, Winn (13) and Walker (11).

Edie Surratt

A 25-year Davidson resident, Edie has a hyper-local focus as a volunteer and business owner. Edie's professional background includes over 30 years of sales experience in broadcast for WDAV Classical Public Radio, as well as a top-ranked syndicated morning show. Edie's interest in real estate sales began with vacation rental and property management on Bald Head Island, where her passion for providing unparalleled customer service was further honed. A Founder and Chair of the Davidson Farmer's Market, Edie also served on the Board of the Davidson Lands Conservancy. She and her husband have raised their two daughters here, and opened and own Carrburritos Mexican Taqueria on South Main Street, where it has become a Davidson staple. Edie and her husband have a home on Bald Head Island where she owns Bald Head Island Beach Rentals, managing a select group of island properties, and her passion to provide an unparalleled client experience is evident with every interaction. Greg Fallon

In 1993, Greg graduated with a B.A. in business management from Catawba College. After a stint as a professional soccer player for the Greensboro Dynamo, he started in the commercial real estate with a focus on office/medical/institutional landlord representation. In 2003, he joined Crosland and was responsible for sales and leases of over two million square feet of retail space. After several years at Crosland, Greg joined The Carolina Group and was engaged in retail development and brokerage, including site selection, buyer/tenant representation, land assemblage, and single tenant build-to-suits. To date, Greg has completed more than 200 transactions involving many prominent landlords and retailers in the industry and has been responsible for leasing of over four million square feet throughout the Carolinas. In 2010, Greg teamed up with Michael Orlando and David Stewart and brought his leasing and development experience to Davidson. Greg is a member of the Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR), and holds real estate licenses in both North and South Carolina. He is a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute and a member of the Charlotte Chamber and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Greg and his wife, Rebecca, live in Davidson with their two children.

Jessica Martin

Jessica focuses on addressing the needs of her clients. An effective communicator, she seeks to fully understand her buyers and sellers, continuing a focus on client service that began while managing a horse farm at a young age. After college, Jessica worked at the forefront of internet advertising, managing client relationships for the agency that created the first online advertisement. Now, with over 20 years of strategic marketing expertise and experience in the real estate industry, Jessica is a motivated and resourceful negotiator determined to help her clients find the right property or market their property effectively. Jessica joined TSG Residential as the principal agent in 2014. In 2020, she was the top producing residential agent in Davidson with over $22 million in sales. Since 2015, Jessica has closed over $76,000,000 in sales. Prior to joining TSG, Jessica was an agent at Select Sotheby's International Realty in New York, where she was recognized as a top producer. Jessica is routinely featured as one of the Top 25 Women Realtors in Lake Norman. A graduate of the Whittemore School of Business and Economics (now Peter T. Paul College) at the University of New Hampshire and a member of the National Association of Realtors®, North Carolina Association of Realtors®, and the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association, Jessica has earned the prestigious designation of Certified Residential Specialist, which is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents. She is also a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialists (CLHMS) and Graduate Realtor® Institute (GRI). A native Vermonter, Jessica loves being outside in the beautiful climate Davidson offers. She is a past member of the Davidson Elementary School Leadership Team as DES transitioned to Davidson K-8 and is a big supporter of Davidson College athletics. She and her husband Brad, who works at Davidson College, reside in Old Davidson with their two children and dog.

Juliet Bowden

A native of Florida, Juliet graduated from Florida State University and worked in IT and as a project manager until she moved to Davidson in 2004 with her husband and two children. Both of Juliet's children attended local schools, participated in camps, played sports, and took art and music lessons in the community. Juliet has been very active in the PTA and many other community organizations. Both of her children now work and attend colleges in North Carolina. Juliet, her husband and kids enjoy traveling together, sailing, outdoor activities, and spending time with friends. Juliet's real estate clients have included corporate executives, sports figures, young families, investors and retiring professionals. She represents buyers and sellers of primary residences, vacation homes, and undeveloped land. She is proud to have had many repeat clients. In addition to being an experienced, energetic, conscientious and dedicated realtor, Juliet is regarded as a talented interior decorator, a prolific gardener and an experienced cook. Maupin Stewart

Upon retiring after 38 years as a Virginia banker in 2005, Maupin and his wife moved to Davidson to be closer to family. Maupin was familiar with the Davidson/ Lake Norman/ Mecklenburg area as he had been visiting the area since the early nineties when his son was attending Davidson College. A broker since 2005, Maupin's experience in real estate and as a relationship banker offers invaluable perspective to his clients. Maupin focuses on providing quality service with integrity, creating a pleasant and rewarding experience for his clients.

Michael Orlando

A 2001 graduate of Davidson College, Mike has lived in Davidson since 1997. In 2005, he joined Knox Realty as a residential broker. During this time, he developed two residential neighborhoods in Ashe County, NC and Hendersonville, NC and sold them to completion. He also started DCAT Investing, LLC with fellow Davidson graduate Tee Bahnson. Through DCAT, they have completed college housing projects, a small residential development near Winston-Salem, and opened their flagship restaurant in 2010, Flatiron Kitchen + Taphouse, in Davidson. In 2009, Mike left Knox Realty to form his own real estate company, Orlando Real Estate, prior to joining the Stewart Group in late 2010. Mike focuses on project fund-raising, buyer and seller representation, builder representation, and residential development. Mike lives with his wife, Julia, and their two children in Davidson.

Mike Kessler

As a 40-year resident of Davidson and a 1995 graduate of Davidson College, Mike brings an incredible amount of knowledge and a unique and valuable perspective on the local area and market to TSG Residential. After graduating from Davidson College, Mike spent seven years building houses and working in the utility construction industry. In 2002, Mike joined Knox Realty and became a market leader in residential sales, builder representation and commercial brokerage completing over 100 million in successful real estate transactions all while cultivating long lasting partnerships and client relationships. In 2009, Mike left general brokerage to become the Director of Property Management and Real Estate for Davidson College, a position he held until 2017 when he join TSG Residential. As the Director of Property Management for Davidson College, Mike managed the college's full real estate portfolio including acquisitions and liquidation, the faculty and staff housing and relocation programs, residential & commercial construction projects off the main campus, real estate gifts, and regulatory issues and utility easements across college owned property. Committed to community engagement, Mike has served on the Board of Directors for the Davidson Housing Coalition and currently serves on the Town of Davidson's Design Review Board, the town's Inclusionary Housing Committee and is a member of the Town of Davidson's Library Endowment Board. Mike is also in his second year of a 3-year appointment to Mecklenburg County's Board of Equalization & Review which evaluates real property tax appeals to the county. In his free time, Mike enjoys helping coach his son's baseball team, tackling challenging renovation projects and volunteering at Davidson Elementary school. Mike lives with his family in a 1920s cottage in downtown Davidson.

Tom Donoghue

Originally from the Boston area, Tom grew up in Texas, where he received a journalism degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and launched his career in both corporate marketing and advertising consultancy positions, leading strategy and campaign development for Fortune 100 companies, including Lowe's, PepsiCo, Ford, and Keurig-Dr Pepper. Tom brings a passion for real estate and home renovation, and a relentless pursuit for creative problem solving to guide clients towards sound real estate decisions to meet personal and investment needs. Residential purchases are inevitably emotionally charged. Tom and TSG are committed to bringing more than 100 years of market expertise to find property solutions that best balance your needs for years to come. As a 14-year Davidson resident, Tom has provided leadership and volunteer support across multiple organizations that fuel this fantastic community including Davidson Elementary School, A Giving Spirit Foundation, and youth athletic organizations, coaching a myriad of sports teams. Tom also served seven years on the Lake Norman YMCA Board of Directors, two as chairman, culminating in a $2 million capital campaign for facility renovations and improvements. Tom lives in Davidson with his wife and three sons.

A native New Yorker, Tom is Brooklyn-born, Long Island-raised, and spent twenty years upstate after getting his degree from SUNY Albany. In 1993 he moved to Vero Beach Florida where he retired in 2013 after thirty four years of government service. After getting his real estate license in 2010 during the throes of the great housing crash, Tom moved to Davidson where he spent the next 6 ½ years working with the Allen Tate Company before moving down the street to TSG Residential in November of 2021. Working with both buyers and sellers, Tom's greatest satisfaction comes from all his clients who are now considered friends. He is also very passionate about his adopted state of North Carolina and can often be found hiking in the mountains with camera in hand. Tom is married with two grown children, both of whom live in the Charlotte area.
