Klay is the Chairman and CEO of WCFP as well as a founding member of Uprising Entertainment, Inc., with over 60 motion picture credits, including Terminator 3, Titanic, Star Wars, The Phantom Menace, The Fugitive, Independence Day, Jurassic Park III.
Klay has been responsible for the acquisition, marketing, sale and distribution of the classic Western "The Shadow Riders", starring Tom Selleck and Sam Elliott, which remained at the top of the US independent charts from September 06 until December 07.
He has negotiated and managed licensing agreements for Wishmaster I, II and III, The Substitute 2 and 3, Permanent Midnight, Belly, The Candyman III, and Suicide Kings.
Internationally he has produced music projects raging from the title track of the hit series Baywatch to the 1999 release of Survivor, and orchestrated the Bosnian Peace Concert with Michael Jackson to name a few. He successfully implemented master use, sync, broadcast, licensing and buy-out agreements for various entertainment based properties in Japan, China, the U.K., France, Italy and Russia.
Michael Sellars graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelors Degree in Radio, Television, and Film, and became the buyer for movies and music at The Federated Group. Mr. Sellars went on to become a sales executive at Baker and Taylor, Inc, managing over 150 accounts in California and Hawaii.
He became Executive Director of Sales at Artisan Pictures and later Lionsgate Films, managing packaged film at Wal-Mart Stores, Target, Best Buy, and many other key accounts.
He has been part of the team that has marketed such properties as the Saw franchise, the Tyler Perry franchise, Crash (Academy Award for Best Picture), the Rambo series, Terminator 2, Total Recall, Dirty Dancing, the Blair Witch Project, National Lampoon's Van Wilder, Reservoir Dogs, Crank, Kick Ass, the Expendables, The Next Three Days, Lincoln Lawyer and the television series Mad Men and Weeds. He has also worked on the libraries of LIVE/Vestron, Hallmark Hall of Fame, the Discovery Channel, and Republic Pictures.
In 1985 Gray formed and co-partnered in GRAY/GOODMAN, INC., one of the fastest-growing talent and literary agencies in the industry at the time.
He has represented such talent as Academy Award Winner Quentin Tarantino, screenwriter/ director (Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Reservoir Dogs), Academy Award Nominee Christopher Devore, screenwriter (Hamlet, The Elephant Man), as well as producers Gordon Webb (Kindergarten Cop, Twins), Dennis Jones (Honey I Blew Up the Kids, Pacific Heights), Derek Kavanaugh (Dances with Wolves), Don Carmody (Gothika, Chicago).
Mr. Gray has been actively engaged with the packaging and sale of Mel Gibson's Hamlet, Pacific Heights and Beverly Hills Cop 2.
With over thirty years in the business, Mr. Gray has established contacts and personal relationships with Hollywood's top players.
