Anderson Insulation was founded by Eric R. Anderson after returning home from World War II. After the war, insulation was being slowly introduced into the housing market, and Eric saw the great need for the use of insulation to offset the cost of electric heat. He started off with two trucks, a loading dock and a 2,000 square foot warehouse on Temple Street in Abington... Anderson Insulation is a proud family business that creates jobs, invests in the communities and gives back to society through the Anderson Foundation... Today, the second generation of Andersons run Anderson Insulation and have grown the business into a multi-location company. They moved the company into a 40,000-square-foot facility on Brockton Avenue in Abington, and have opened a satellite warehouse in Saco, Maine.
