BYBSL

As many are aware, the BYBSL board at the time agreed to merge our Blythewood Softball program with that of Dentsville's to make a larger more stable league. With this merger, a new League was created - Sandhills Softball League (reference original merger document here). This merger resulted in a restructuring of our BYBSL organization to help facilitate a more agile league for baseball and softball alike. As the softball merger created Sandhills Softball League (SSL), we now have created the Blythewood Baseball League (BBL). These two Leagues, BBL and SSL are "subsidiaries" of BYBSL. BYBSL will act as the Board of Directors for the both Leagues and control the financials, market communications, fundraising, sponsorship and uniforms (organizational chart for BYBSL - click here). BBL and SSL will have its own board to drive the day to day operations of each league - rules, schedules, drafts, approving coaches, etc. Both Leagues are developing their respective boards and will have them..
