Donatella Sicomo is the co-founder of the International Law Firm Arnone & Sicomo. Donatella Sicomo gained her Master's Degree in Law in 2005 at the University of Palermo and in 2007 she obtained a Postgraduate Specialization Diploma for Legal Professions (Forensic Justice Area ), at the University of Palermo.

Gioia is the co-founder of the International Law Firm Arnone & Sicomo. Gioia is enrolled with the Bar Council of Palermo. After the completion of a traineeship on civil and criminal law with two recognised law firm in Palermo, she started to work in a notary's office based in Palermo. Then Gioia became an Associate Lawyer one of the most important italian law firm specialised in International Law, where Gioia regularly provided advice in relation to high profile cases concerning Criminal Law, Tax Law, Real Estate and Immigration Law. She gained a Master's Degree in Law at the University of Palermo with an experimental thesis on the criminal tax law and then she obtained the Postgraduate Specialization Diploma for Legal Professions (Forensic Justice Area ), at the University of Palermo. At the end of the post-graduate course she started to collaborate as a trainee with the office of the Prosecutor of the Court of Palermo, where she provided assistance to the same during the hearings and in drafting of documents. Gioia obtained a Diploma in European and International Tax Law from the Political Science Department, of the University of Palermo, then she attended a course on International Criminal Law, organised by the School of Law at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio (USA) and in 2017 she successfully completed the two-year Masters Course on Tax Law organised by the National Union of Tax Consultants Lawyers. During university she was a member of ELSA (European Law Students Association) and she also took part in a Legal Research Team which published an article on the subject of theTax evasion. Over the years she developed a specific expertiseon Real Estate and Property law, Tax Law, Immigration Law, as well as on tax offences, economic crimes and in the field of personal and patrimonial measures of prevention also providing her assistance in relation to any dispute resolution process before the Banking and Financial Arbitrator. Gioia provides expert advice to start-up, innovative Start-ups and to local small and medium - sized companies on business internationalisation being constantly updated on the current italian law regarding microfinance and mentoring.
