EARLE & FREEMAN - Key Persons
Firm founder Caroline Earle has focused her career on providing legal advice and counsel to individuals, businesses, and government. Caroline brings decades-long experience to bear in helping her clients with civil, employment, business, and estate planning and probate matters. Caroline started her journey toward the law at Indiana University School of Law, graduating with a J.D. (cum laude) in 1993. Since then, Caroline has practiced exclusively in Vermont in both the private and public sectors. Caroline's extensive trial experience, including her service as former Chief of the Civil Litigation Division with the Vermont Attorney General's Office, means that her clients are well protected when their needs require litigation counsel in civil or probate court. Caroline is the former Commissioner of Human Resources for the State of Vermont, which gives her a unique and beneficial perspective in representing both employers and employees throughout the state. Caroline enjoys reducing the law to simplest terms for her clients and creating action plans that help clients navigate challenging legal terrain. Caroline is also a dedicated Rotarian, having served as President of her local Rotary club in 2017-18. Caroline will be proud to serve as District Governor for Rotary District 7850 in 2022-23, a district which includes Vermont, parts of New Hampshire and a small slice of Quebec.
