ECLASS is a standard fundamentally open to all - both in terms of use and future development. Thus, we create a construct that is highly authoritative and reliable, while at the same time being very flexible. This combination is the reason our standard is growing significantly faster than comparable solutions. Members have a vital interest in its progress, and develop it in close cooperation with each other... In order to further strengthen the ECLASS Standard internationally and to represent the interests of the association and its members in a bundled manner, ECLASS e.V. is increasingly involved in global and national standardization organizations. ECLASS is active in ISO, DIN and DKE committees and thus ensures that the ECLASS Standard is standard-compliant, that ECLASS e.V. is up to date in the relevant topics, such as the Digital Product Passport, Asset Adminstration Shell and the Digital Twin, and that it is significantly involved in the further development of the standards.....
