IRON ROOT FARM

We set our roots down in 2017, offering three varieties of naturally grown Haskap Berries!... Iron Root Farm came to life in January of 2017 after Ryan and Lisa Tanner and their two boys purchased a farm located in Armstrong, British Columbia and planted 8 acres of Haskap Berry plants. Ryan wanted to farm the land with more than just alfalfa so he began researching the types of plants that could tolerate clay soil, hot summers and Canadian winters... Ryan stumbled upon the Haskap Berry plant through a friend and after a lot of research he knew that this was the journey he wanted to make with his family. The University of Saskatchewan offered a lot of research about how incredibly hardy the Haskap Berry plant is and how tolerant it is to our every changing climate.
