Charan brings 15 years of extensive software engineering experience that includes building multiple web scale search, analytics and enterprise systems. Kumar is a hands on software architect with over 10 years of experience in software development. He's involved in the architecture, design, and implementation of distributed systems, microservices, service-oriented and entreprise architectures. At Logistimo he owns platform services and works on building distributed and scalable systems. He is inspired by Logistmo's SCM product which incorporates cutting edge technologies to improve the vaccine supply chain across aspects like immunisation coverage, equity, and significant cost reduction.
Logistimo SCM is enabling health workers in 27 facilities across the deployed region in Somaliland to maintain real time stock information of 300 health commodities (vaccines, essential drugs, lab equipment & nutritional supply). Real-time data flows up the supply chain, gets aggregated and visualized across multiple dimensions. This increases visibility into the supply-chain and provides decision makers the necessary tools for data-driven decision making.
Logistimo SCM has been implemented in Senegal in the French language. It allows for real-time monitoring of vaccine quantity and quality, with an ultimate aim to improve vaccine coverage at the last mile. In association with Empower School of Health a local presence has been established in Senegal, to provide leadership in rolling out Logistimo's technology for Senegal's EPI program.
