He graduated from Emory University with a B.S. in Biology in 1995, and he then attended and graduated from the Kanas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999 with honors in Anatomy and Histology. He performed his residency in Family Practice at John Peter Smith and Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Hoffman joined his father in Family Practice and built up a thriving medical practice; however, he was looking at other ways to provide quality medical care to his patients. With the limitations of conventional medicine, Dr. Hoffman decided to pursue a postgraduate fellowship in Integrative and Functional Medicine. He graduated from the fellowship of the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM) in December 2017 and is currently pursuing the Institute of Functional Medicine Certification Program. His personal Story With the stress and demands of running a busy Family Practice, Dr. Hoffman started having his own physical challenges. He went through the standard testing and treatments for his physical challenges, yet he did not have any improvement in his symptoms. This was when he started pursuing Integrative and Functional Medicine, looking for alternative ways to treat his problems. By going through this journey, Dr. Hoffman has learned new ways to treat common conditions, and it has allowed him to provide his patients with additional treatment options that were limited in conventional medicine.
