Alison Crosweller

Alison Crosweller is a government affairs and public policy specialist with over 20 years-experience working across state and federal governments, the private sector leading corporate affairs, policy and journalism. Before joining Johnson & Johnson as Senior Director, Government Affairs and Policy, Alison held senior positions in large-listed companies running corporate and government affairs functions, and previous to that was Communications Director to two Premiers and a Treasurer. She began her career as a journalist with The Australian newspaper. Alison is experienced developing and executing engagement strategies to help individuals, corporations and industry bodies promote their agendas, build relationships and enhance reputations, seize commercial opportunities and achieve their goals. She has been a company representative on several industry bodies across the health care, infrastructure and resource recovery space as well as a member of her organisation's Reconciliation Action Plan committees. Alison is the Johnson & Johnson ANZ lead for the Alliance for Adverse Abilities, an employee resource group focusing on inclusion and belonging for people with diverse abilities in the company. She is passionate about mental health in teenagers. In her spare time she is driving children to swimming squads, AFL and gymnastics training.

Amber Matthews

Amber is the Managing Partner of DLA Piper, Australia. DLA Piper is a global law firm with offices in more than 40 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Amber has been with DLA Piper for over 20 years in various roles, starting as a corporate lawyer in their Sydney and then London offices, before becoming the firm's international General Counsel in 2011, a role which she held until 2019, when she took on the Managing Partner role in Australia. Amber is a collaborative and values driven leader. She believes in developing and empowering others and creating a workplace culture that is inclusive for all. This includes ensuring that everyone has the tools to do their jobs to the best of their ability. Optimising wellbeing and managing stress are critical tools for anyone to have a fulfilling and successful career. Amber is a member of the firm's international Health & Wellbeing Steering Committee, a SPEAK (DLA Piper's mental health programme) Ambassador and Chair of the Australian and Asia-Pacific Diversity & Inclusion Committees.

Andrew Culleton

Annette Karantoni

Annette has spent the last 20 years working across Woolworths Group. Annette's roles over the years have included eCommerce, logistics, buying, marketing and replenishment. Annette also led the redesign of our supply chain network which laid out our development and investment roadmap. Most recently, Annette has been part of the WooliesX scale-up and has spent the last few years building capabilities for our customers and teams in her role as Director of B2C eCommerce. In this role, she grew a highly capable team and worked closely with our supply chain and store operations teams to navigate huge acceleration in this space. During her time in the role, Annette oversaw growth of the WooliesX eCommerce platform from 2% to 11% of our total business. In her current tole, Annette is responsible for leading Primary Connect, the supply chain arm of Woolworths Group. Annette's team of more than 10,000 support Woolworths, BIG W, BWS and Dan Murphy's stores across the country, providing them with our customer's favourite food, drink and everyday needs items. Passionate about our customers and team, Annette brings a wealth of experience and passion to the Group Executive team, with a track record of delivering customer-led strategies, delivering change , innovation and scalable ways of working.

Ellen Derrick

Ellen is responsible for driving market growth and brand eminence across public sector accounts and industry sectors and defining and executing the Firm's public policy strategy. She is also the Advisory Partner for the Australian Federal Government, NSW, Victorian and Western Australian Government accounts. She has significant experience working within health and human services, social policy and regulatory agencies to embrace digital transformation, improve service delivery outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. Ellen plays an active role in local and national charitable foundations, including Cystic Fibrosis Australia, and is a mentor for the Centre for Economic Development of Australia and the Institute of Public Administration Australia.

Fiona Thompson

Fiona has been Suncorp's Group Executive, People, Culture & Advocacy since January 2021. In this role, she is responsible for the functions of People & Culture, Corporate Affairs, Customer Advocate and Regulatory Affairs. Fiona previously spent five years as Suncorp's Chief Risk Officer. Prior to this, Fiona was Chief Risk Officer - Insurance and Associate General Counsel and has held several leadership roles within legal, risk management, compliance, internal audit and customer advocate functions since joining Suncorp in 2001. Fiona has led Suncorp through significant strategic projects, including risk transformation, mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, regulatory change, remediation activity and licence consolidation. Fiona has also been integral in leading her teams through periods of significant change and is passionate about the creation and maintenance of high performing, healthy and supportive workplaces and is an advocate for diversity and inclusion.

Hannah McLeod

Julie Mitchell

Julie Mitchell is the Chief General Manager Personal Injury and is responsible for personal injury lines CTP, Life and Workers Compensation for Allianz Australia. Across a 20 year career at Allianz, Julie has held a number of key leadership roles including Chief General Manager Workers Compensation, General Manager of Victoria and the NSW Treasury Managed Fund (TMF) businesses. Julie has over 24 years of insurance industry experience across workplace injury, claims and operational management. Prior to joining Allianz Julie held roles at WorkCover NSW and has also spent a number of years within the occupational rehabilitation industry. Julie holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Rehabilitation Counselling) degree from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Safety Science through the University of New South Wales.

Kim Hamrosi - CEO

Kim is a healthcare professional with over 20 years experience working in healthcare, initially as a pharmacist in clinical service delivery, and then in academic clinical research, health technology assessment, health economics and patient outcomes research. Over the last few years Kim has worked in the corporate environment, with a focus on healthcare strategy and implementation delivering multiple large projects in complex stakeholder environments in the areas of health and life sciences working with government, Industry and not for profit. Kim holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons I) and has a PhD. She lives in Sydney with her husband and teenage son and shares her home with dog Meisie and cat Murphy.

Kirsten Knappett

Kirsten is an experienced Project Manager working on strategic initiatives across organisations big and small. Starting her career in Investment Banking in London she moved to Sydney and has worked on transformation projects across multiple industries. Most recently Kirsten has intentionally moved across to the not-for-profit space and worked in Mental Health and Childrens Education charities prior to joining CMHAA. Kirsten is passionate about making a difference in the mental health space and is excited to see what the future holds.

Laura Malcolm

As Avanade's Australia General Manager, Laura leads a team of more than 700 professionals located across Australia, who help clients to deliver innovative solutions through the power of people and Microsoft technology. Laura launched her Avanade career eight years ago as its Australia Chief Technology Officer. Since then, Laura spent time in London as Avanade's UK Digital Lead, UK and Ireland (UKI) Chief Operating Officer, and Global Advisory Practice Lead. Laura returned to Sydney in March 2020 to take on the role as Avanade's Growth Markets Growth & Strategy Lead and has been General Manager of the Australian business since September 2021. Laura lives in Sydney with her husband and two children. She loves running and music and is a passionate advocate for inclusion and diversity.

Lauren Daniels

Lauren joined nib in 2018 as Head of People & Culture and was recently promoted to Group Chief People Officer in 2022 to drive and lead nib's people agenda. She has also been responsible for the design, development and delivery of the diversity, equity and inclusion strategy and policy in her time at nib.  Previously, Lauren held several senior management positions in human resources (HR) for major corporations including BHP and Deloitte. She also worked in London across various executive advisory and HR management roles for leading international mining group, Rio Tinto.   Lauren has 20 years' experience across human resources, diversity, equity and inclusion, organisational design and transformation, talent management and employee engagement. She is also highly skilled in providing strategic advice to Executive teams to foster inclusive organisational cultures to ensure the attraction, development and retention of high performing talent.  

Melinda Upton - CEO

Melinda Upton in her previous role was a leading intellectual property lawyer and Global Co-Chair of Intellectual Property and Technology (IPT) at global law firm DLA Piper. The firm's IPT practice group comprises over 500 lawyers across 25 countries. Melinda is a passionate advocate for workplace health and wellbeing in the legal profession. She established DLA Piper's first bespoke mental health and wellbeing program called SPEAK, is a founding member of DLA Piper's International Health & Wellbeing Steering Committee and works tirelessly to raise awareness about mental ill-health and help drive positive change across our industry. When Melinda isn't working, you'll find her enjoying backyard cricket with her family and friends, on the tennis court or doing "the bay" with one of her running friends or gorgeous collie, Watson.
