Conway Design is an architectural firm specializing in custom homes, alterations and additions, as well as light commercial design. After thirty-four years of both designing and building our projects, we are now focusing on design. Louis E. "Chip" Conway, Jr., owner of Conway Design, has been a registered architect in Virginia since 1990. We are proud of the excellent reputation and strong relationships that we have established over the years with our many homeowners and colleagues. We look forward to working with you to create your ideal project here at beautiful Smith Mountain Lake... We have designed homes and other fine projects at Smith Mountain Lake for over thirty years. Throughout the design process we collaborate with each client and their building site to gain an understanding of the unique needs that will define the success of each project.
