Dr. Gupta was awarded Asthma Canada's 2019 Lead Investigator Award in Health Research for his groundbreaking work in knowledge translation and the use of the Electronic Asthma Management System to help close gaps in asthma care... Our system engages patients with asthma to complete a pre-visit questionnaire through our web portal or app, and processes this information to give providers guideline-based advice personalized to each individual patient, through easy-to-use prompts..
