Welcome to the Event Directors Sustainability Network (EDiSN), a network for event directors to share ideas and resources to organize events that are environmentally sustainable. We invite all event directors to join, whether your event has 100 people or 10,000. We are a network for all kinds of events-road running, trail running, cycling, walking, triathalons, and more. This is a DIY network, intended for events that lack corporate sponsors or big budgets, but want to hold sustainable events. Like Thomas Edison, we are committed to innovative ideas and practices, and the willingness to change the world... We created the EDiSN web site, Facebook page and started sharing ideas. At the heart of the web site are the Best Practices (which are constantly being updated). By joining EDiSN event directors make a pledge to use these best practices. (We are in the process of applying for 501c3 status.)
