one year and one day wanderings as a journeyman through workshops in whole Europe... At the age of 15 my life has got a completely new direction. Music was knocking on - and the door was opened widely. I already played viola before, but without being really interested. Now years followed dedicated to music. Quite soon followed instruments of the da Gamba family and connected to this the music of the renaissance and baroque epoque. With 19 I started to study at the violinmaking school in Mittenwald. After graduation i was wandering as a journeyman for one year and one day. A time in which I learned that life is not like this. It is different. And also in violinmaking: throughout collecting many different experiences in several workshops I learned to let go of all the ideas how-it-has-to-be.
