Dr. Tina Herington is the Director of Gwinnett Dental Career Academy and also a practicing general dentist and the owner of Suwanee Family Dentistry. Before opening Suwanee Family Dentistry, she received her Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Gwinnett Dental Society, and is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Herington has served as a volunteer clinical instructor in the Oral Rehabilitation Department at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Dr. Herington has also been a FAA Certified Flight Instructor for 21 years, and has attained a NAFI Master Flight Instructor Designation.
In her spare time Dr. Herington enjoys aviation, hiking, biking and other outdoor activities.
Tiffany Pearch is the Lead Instructor at GDCA. She has more than twenty five years experience in general dentistry and has both expanded duties and radiology certifications and is Dr. Herington's chairside assistant. Tiffany loves all aspects of dentistry and wants to help you become successful in this field too!
