Amirah Tajdin

bio Amirah Tajdin is a Kenyan artist and filmmaker. Born and raised in Nairobi, she spent her teen years in Dubai and considers her ongoing romance with wild cities and her mixed lineage as the strongest influences in her films. She has helmed films and commercial campaigns for clients such as Cadillac, Bloomingdale's, Virgin Mobile, Pepsi, and The Louvre Abu Dhabi. Her film Sisterhood: Action for Girls Who Code was a Tribeca X Award finalist. Her short film Marea di Tierra competed at Sundance, Cannes Director's Fortnight, and over twenty other festivals globally. She is a Sundance Institute Fellow, selected for both the Screenwriters Lab and Director's Lab.

Andy McLeod

bio Andy started as Executive Creative Director and founding partner of Fallon, one of London's most highly respected advertising agencies. Andy has received numerous creative awards including the coveted D&AD Black Pencil, Golds at British Arrows, Cannes Lions, One Show and the Creative Circle President's Award. In his first year of directing, Andy shot award-winning commercials for Skoda, Volkswagen and Barnardo's (amongst others) and went on to win Best New Director at the British Arrows Craft awards. Andy has continued to create work for brands such as Walls, Thinkbox, Mulberry, Cesar, Road Safety, VW, The Sun and Amazon, earning him a plethora of awards across all major global awards bodies, including Cannes Lions, D&AD and Creative Circle. In 2019 Andy directed Ed Sheeran's contemplative ‘Beautiful People' music video which has over 300 million views and counting on YouTube.

Cristine Berglund

bio Cristine Berglund's passion for post-production and playful approach to storytelling, means not only are her productions visually compelling but her skilful incorporation of creative technical solutions make her reel and her attitude to work with an absolute joy. Cristine grew up in Stockholm, Sweden (except for that one year when she and her family lived on a boat and travelled the world). At 18 she moved to London to study at RADA then worked as an actor, assistant director, even a editor for reality TV. For the past five years though, Cristine has been in her element as a director having made films for many International household brands including IKEA, Motorola and Absolut Vodka. When she's not working, you can find Cristine taking pictures or riding her Harley Sportster. She is also an enthusiastic cook. Her speciality is Swedish meatballs….obviously.

Daniel Kleinman

bio Daniel Kleinman is recognised as one of advertising's most established directors. Over his long-spanning career Danny has won the top awards for his advertising work at Cannes, D&AD, the New York One Show, British Arrows, Clio, Creative Circle, Midsummer Awards and many others. The Gunn Report acknowledged him as the Most Awarded Director in the world, he has received the President's Award from Creative Circle and the Chairman's Award at the British Arrows. He's also topped the Campaign, Shots and Televisual's lists of hottest directors and in Ad week, was voted US Commercial Director of the decade.

John West

After Hornsey Art School, Daniel went on to work as an illustrator, collaborating on storyboards with directors working in the emerging music video industry. From the 90s Daniel has concentrated on advertising. He has not only created ads with complex VFX for clients such as Guinness, X-Box, Chrysler, Johnnie Walker, Sony and Audi. Additionally his equal ability to direct comedy and dialogue has led to work for Boddingtons, Super Noodles, Durex and John West Salmon, with his timeless ‘Bear Fight' commercial frequently appearing on funniest advert lists even now, more than 20 years later. Daniel took over the mantle of James Bond titles designer from Maurice Binder, creating the iconic title sequences for 8 of the last 9 blockbusters - including ‘Die Another Day', ‘Casino Royale', ‘Skyfall', ‘Spectre' and most recently ‘No Time To Die'. Daniel has also directed several TV drama and comedies.

Nicolas Saada

Nicolas Saada is a screenwriter, director, and French actor. He has a 19-year career and has shot 17 films and series. In 2004, he directed his first short film, Les Parallèles, nominated for the César for Best Short Film in 2005. In 2009, he released his first feature film, Espion(s), nominated the same year for the Louis-Delluc Award and the following year for a César. In 2015, his second feature film, Taj Mahal, shot in India, was released. The film was selected at the Telluride, Venice, and Ghent festivals.

Park Chan-Wook

Park Chan-Wook is a Korean screenwriter, producer, and director who is one of the most acclaimed filmmakers in South Korea. Notorious for his immaculate framing, dark humor, and often brutal subject matter, the soul of his films stand out as a genre quite apart in Asian cinema. His collection of work includes Joint Security Area, which became the then most-watched film ever made in South Korea, Thirst, and The Handmaiden. Chan-Wook also created The Vengeance Trilogy, consisting of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy, and Lady Vengeance. The films have been recognized in many film festivals around the world, including the Cannes Film Festival Grand Prix for Old Boy. His English language works include Stoker and The Little Drummer Girl. He won Best Director at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival for his film Decision to Leave.
