Andrew Rillera - Founder

Andrew joined the movement in 1999 when he left the Jehovah's Witnesses and accepted the Triune God revealed in Jesus Christ. Andrew finds Pax by playing games with his family, reading, playing ice hockey and disc golf, and finding solitude. He has a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies (Eternity Bible College), M.A. in Theology and Ministry (Fuller Seminary), and a Ph.D. in New Testament (Duke University). He is Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies and Theology at The King's University (Edmonton, AB). He co-wrote Fight: A Christian Case for Nonviolence with Preston Sprinkle (now re-titled as Nonviolence: The Revolutionary Way of Jesus) and is currently writing a book with Cascade Books titled: Lamb of the Free: Recovering the Varied Sacrificial Understandings of Jesus's Death. He and his wife (Karianne) and two kids (Eden & Zion) live in Edmonton, Alberta.

Anna Feingold - Founder

Anna Faircloth Feingold is a post-conviction attorney, policy advocate, educator, and mom. She currently works for an educational nonprofit. Her journey with Jesus has evolved since her first prayer when she was 5 years old. She embraces the mystery of the Divine, and is mindful to have more questions than answers. Captivated by the way of Jesus, she is fiercely committed to the work of peacemaking and liberation. As she wrestles with the heaviness of the world, she is learning to find grace in brokenness and solace in humbly seeking "tikkun olam." She finds shalom in quiet personal rituals and reflection, witnessing her child grow, and watching episodes of Queer Eye. After many years in (beloved) Los Angeles, she now lives in Somerville, MA, with her husband, their toddler, and their cat.

Dorcas Cheng-Tozun

Dorcas was introduced to the movement while growing up within a Chinese immigrant church, and joyfully discovered even deeper layers of the movement as a college student and young adult. She finds Pax through natural and created beauty, reading and writing underrepresented stories of hope and redemption, and honest conversations with good friends. She served in the nonprofit and social enterprise sectors for about a decade before becoming a writer, editor, and communications consultant. Dorcas is a passionate believer in the power of stories to transform individuals and societies. She is the author of two books, Start, Love, Repeat: How to Stay in Love with Your Entrepreneur in a Crazy Start-up World and Let There d.light: How One Social Enterprise Brought Solar Products to 100 Million People. She has a BA in communication and an MA in sociology from Stanford University. A Silicon Valley native, Dorcas has also lived in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Kenya. She currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, Ned, and their two hapa boys.

Drew Jackson - Founder, President

Drew was introduced to the movement by his Mom at the age of 7, but it wasn't until his college years that he began to truly understand what it meant to participate in the movement. Drew finds Pax by reading, writing poetry, and watching the 76ers. He holds his B.A. in Political Science (International Relations) from the University of Chicago, as well as his M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. Drew is the co-founding pastor of Hope East Village in New York City at which he currently serves, is deeply engaged in anti-racism work, primarily in church contexts, and is actively involved with the work of peacemaking and multi-faith coalition building for the common good, both nationally and internationally. Drew and his wife Genay have twin daughters, Zora and Suhaila, and they currently live in Lower Manhattan.

Eli Medina

Job Titles:

Eli joined the movement as a young teenager in New York City through the loving embrace of her best friend. She finds Pax by creating memories with her family throughout the beautiful and diverse California landscape, where they reside. She is a homeschooling mom of two children (Luca and Ayla) and along with her husband, Alex, is devoted to teaching them about the beauty in other cultures and advocating for those on the margins.

Jai Patel

Job Titles:

Jai joined the movement during the summer of 2013 when a friend shared the story of creation from the book of Genesis and told him about God's love for the world. Jai finds Pax while working out, reading, writing, enjoying time with his wife, and having quality conversations about faith, culture, philosophy, and sports. Jai has his B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Business, Communication and Philosophy from The University of Texas at San Antonio. He has served with campus ministry leaders in San Antonio and was a Youth Minister of a local church in Baton Rouge, LA. He is currently receiving his MBA from Louisiana State University at Shreveport and is living in Houma, LA with his wife, Priyanka.

Josh Buck - Founder

Josh joined the movement in 2004 when he was compelled to follow Jesus after coming to the accept the resurrection of Jesus as a historical fact. Josh finds Pax by studying late at night, reading, listening to music, and trying to empower those around him. He has a B.A. in Biblical studies, M.A. in Ministry, and is working on a P.h.D. in Intercultural Studies. He is an adjunct professor at Eternity Bible College, was the co-founding pastor of Antioch of Los Angeles, and is co-founder of an after-school arts program in L.A. called AMP Los Angeles. His wife Sarswatie and three kids (Aahana, Anaia, & Azariah) all live in South Bend, Indiana.

Josue Carballo-Huertas

Josue is a creative that loves to create meaningful visuals that communicate a message in an inspiring and effective way. He is originally from Costa Rica but now living in the American south with his newly married Bride, Shelby and her cat Milo. Michael Mata - Founder

Michael began his ministry career 40 years ago upon moving into his Los Angeles neighborhood to work with youth. In recent years he has focused, through formal and informal training, on enhancing the capacity of faith-rooted leaders to effect positive change in marginal and distressed urban communities - locally, nationally and globally. Michael is married to Kristina Craig, a 4th generation Angelino. They adopted/fostered 3 siblings that have given them 12 grandchildren! He enjoys the fresh vegetables and fruit that Kristina cultivates and harvests from their yard. In their "downtime" they enjoy watching British mysteries or listening to books of the same genre.

Michelle Ami Reyes - Founder

Michelle joined the movement, by God's grace, as a young Indian American girl in the suburbs of Minnesota. She is a seeker of Pax and is finding it more and more these days both in person and online in like-minded communities of color, where culture and faith are celebrated side by side. Michelle holds a Ph.D in Germanic Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is the Scholar in Residence at Hope Community Church in Austin, TX as well as the Vice President of the Asian American Christian Collaborative. She is also the author of Becoming All Things: How Small Changes Lead to Lasting Connections Across Cultures. Michelle and her husband, Aaron, have two kids (Akash and Ava) and currently live in East Austin.

Missy Pupchik - Founder

Originally from the Philippines, Missy came to faith by God using a difficult season in her family's life and using it for good. She finds Pax through music, morning walks, and sharing a meal with family & friends. Missy serves as deacon and Operations Director at Antioch City Church. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband, KiLee, and their two young boys, John & Joshua.

Mondo Scott - Founder

Mondo joined the movement through the love and witness of a small Pentecostal church during his youth. He finds PAX at the intersection of the spiritual and creative which usually culminates in taking solo sabbath road trips with his camera and a few rolls of 35mm film. He has a B.A in Biblical Studies, and aside from PAX, he volunteers on the Pastoral team at Ecclesia Hollywood and serves as a volunteer Board Member and photography instructor at AMP Los Angeles, an after-school arts program. Mondo is married to his BFF, Salena and together they are raising their Gen Z daughter (Selah) to be a radical follower of Jesus in the 21st century. They all live, work and play in Los Angeles, California.

Osheta Moore

Osheta fell in love with Jesus and the church when she was 9 years old in an old Texas chapel during a Vacation Bible School; her first communion was graham crackers and red Kool-Aid. She finds PAX by owning her belovedness, loving her blackness, and encouraging others to be everyday peacemakers right in their contexts. She is the author of "Shalom Sistas" and an upcoming book on anti-racism peacemaking called, "Dear White Peacemakers" as well as pastors two churches in the Twin Cities. Her husband T.C. (who is her ministry partner at one of those churches) and three teenagers (Tyson, T.J. and Trinity) all live in Saint Paul, MN.

Travia Forte

Travia joined the movement as a child growing up and having bible study with her aunt. She finds PAX by holding on to the promise of "Beauty for Ashes." She has an AA in Radio, Television, and Film and Humanities/Fine Art. She is currently an undergrad at Biola University where she studies Broadcast Journalism and Biblical Studies.
