GLOBAL PRECLINICAL DATA FORUM

The Global Preclinical Data Forum is a jointly sponsored U.S. and European initiative that encourages global collaboration to address the challenge of ensuring that preclinical research is reproducible, robust and translatable to support disease research utility for clinical research & development (R&D)... The GPDF provides a platform for communication and training relating to modern issues in preclinical research with the goal of enhancing data utility for translational and clinical research and development (R&D). The focus of the GPDF is to increase the robustness, reproducibility, translatability and reporting transparency of preclinical data derived from both animal research and animal-free methods. Our responsibility includes knowledge transfer of high-quality practices in the preclinical research community, as well as communicating the goals and value of preclinical research to the broader public and policy makers.
