TEAMTERRY KETO

I'm a recovering alcoholic, and in June of 2020, I will be celebrating 32 years of sobriety. During my 30's, I was very active, playing softball and bowling. I had a very physical job and although I had always struggled with a sugar addiction I never had to worry about my weight. However, in 2003 I had second knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus, which put an end to my athletic career - both bowling and softball. I was quite fortunate that my company found me another job in an office. I couldn't do the physical job that I had done for over 20 years any longer. Working in an office was quite challenging. It was a lot less physical and I was constantly surrounded by food temptation. Unfortunately, I also couldn't get the exercise that I needed to control my weight. My sugar cravings got a bit out of control. And before I knew what was happening, I weighed in at 250 lbs... My body ached. I had pains in my knees, my back, everywhere.
